  8. It  has  to  be the file utility of the decade, Opus 5 has hit the market
  9. with  both  feet firmly on the ground, with bags of new improved features
  10. to  boot.   Over  the years opus has come up time after time improving on
  11. it's self this time it has superseded itself.

  13. This  time  Opus  5 has a brand new look to it no longer has it got those
  14. file  windows  set  into a button system!  oh no now you can put it where
  15. ever  you  want.   A  completely  configurable  file monster.  You are in
  16. complete  control  of how u want your opus to work and feel.  Do you want
  17. it to look like disk master with buttons down the middle ?  sure here you
  18. go,  the  original  opus no problem all at the touch of a few buttons and
  19. half an hours setting up.

  21. Directory Opus 5 can now be run either on top of workbench or on it's own
  22. screen.   Just how could opus 4 be improved on ?  well opus 5 has taken a
  23. tip  from  file  manager  on  the pc yes you heard me a pc opus 5 now has
  24. icons at the top to make life easier.  OK so itz a good idea I cant fault
  25. file  manager  for  it.   You  can now have a whole bank of icons running
  26. along  your shiny opus file lister making copying, deleting, and moving a
  27. pleasure.

  29. Opus 5 allows you to make a window pop up with all your favourite buttons
  30. in  and  when  opus 5 is in its own environment you can have tool buttons
  31. where  you  can  place  your  favourite programs in by dragging them from
  32. their  directories  oh yes still in view are your disk icons!  and u have
  33. the ultimate workbench replacement, what more could u want ?

  35. Ever  had the misfortune of using a pc and seen the odd feature you would
  36. like  added  to  the  amiga  proggies?   well I have seen one you can now
  37. select  files  using the cursor keys yes now everything via the keyboard.
  38. No more stretching for the mouse.

  40. Your  favourite  features  are  still  there  from  the  previous version
  41. filetypes, custom windows, hot keys the whole shooting match.

  43. There  are some draw backs out there for the old users Opus 5 is now only
  44. WorkBench 2 and above and then slow on the 500+ and 600 to make this work
  45. fast  you need a 1200 and then we get to the second draw back you need to
  46. run Opus from a Hard Disk so no more squashing it down to fit on a disk.

  48. Overall If you have WB2+ I would recommend spending some money and buying
  49. this  splendid  piece of software, Well Done Jonathan Potter & GpSoftware
  50. Top marks.
